Our Mission is to become a platform or abridge that can connect the Mining Sector and society especially Youth on increasing Mineral applications so that to expand internal market for the low and middle quality minerals/gemstones in our society. Also to reach out as many Youth as we can and introduce them into this life changing opportunity as we are looking into reducing the number of our fellow unemployed youth.

TAWOMA Youth main activity is to use our Profession, Talents and Creativities to create and design products made from minerals and gemstones as we take part on the chain of Mineral Value Addition (MIVA). Also with the help of these Women of TAWOMA, we provide and share these little education we got about Minerals and Value Addition to our fellow Youth through seminars and workshops that are conducted under TAWOMA.

In this very short time since TAWOMA Youth was formed, we were able to participate in the 6th exhibition of industrial products and 60th anniversary of independence of Tanzania Mainland that were held in Zanzibar from 3rd to 9th of December 2021. The experience we got was one of things that we are proud of untill now. Also we got an opportunity to participate in 24th meeting of Small Scale Miners Dodoma, of which TAWOMA hosted, followed with an exhibition. There we were able to do a presentation to a Minister of Minerals, Hon. Dotto Biteko and we were also able to sell our artworks on that exhibition. Finally we were able to get the chance to participate on the International Minerals and Mining Investment Conference that was held on the (JNICC) julius Nyerere International Convention Center from 21-23 February 2022 as Delegates. through this value addition opportunity we have from Tawoma, now we have advantage to participate in any event or conference that concerning with mineral and value addition
TAWOMA bring together government, Industry. Miners and mining communities to make ASM safer. ASM is important for the several reasons - necessary for computer, mobile phones,medical devices , and much more. TAWOMA and Youth team has beem working to improve the ASM sector and women miners communities lives of artisanal in Tanzania. Through Moyo Gem(Mining Market) which include gemstone dealers , brokers and Gemstone miners in which the buyer is able to buy directly from these women and put that money right into their hand in exchange for their incredibly hard work they do. In that case TAWOMA youth make the beneficiries happy by buying the low value grade gemstone ,special for creation of beautiful craft art pieces incorporating different gemstone as part of vlue addition to yhe low grade gemstone.
TAWOMA and Youth team has been working to improve the ASM sector and women miners communities lives of artisanal in Tanzania. Through connecting mining sector with other different proffesions .Example Art and design, We are able to add value to the low value gemstone minerals by appling minerals in our designed artworks, It give us divesity in our works and create impact in the mining comminities .
